Stainless Steel Tubular Components Formulated for
Medical Devices and Instrumentation to be Introduced
at the Medical Design & Manufacturing Expo Minneapolis

Veridiam, formerly known as Carpenter Special Products Corporation prior to its June, 2005 sale by Carpenter Technology Corporation to a private equity investor, will profile stainless steel tubing and tubular components specifically developed and fabricated to meet the demanding requirements of medical instrument and device manufacturers at the Medical Design & Manufacturing Exposition (MD&M Expo). The 2005 MD&M Expo will be held on November 2-3 at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Minneapolis, MN.

Material selection is critical to insure the most cost effective medical instrument, one that not only performs as intended, but one that can be fabricated economically. Materials to be featured at the show (Booth #1649) will include alloys uniquely formulated for corrosion resistance, bio-compatibility, strength, toughness, fatigue strength, edge retention, wear and galling resistance. Also featured will be examples of metal tubular components demonstrating Veridiam's close-tolerance fabrication capabilities.

As the Midwest's top resource for the medical manufacturing industry, the MD&M Expo offers a unique combination of advanced training workshops, multispeaker sessions and vendor exhibits representing the latest in regulatory, quality, design, and manufacturing. The Minneapolis Convention Center is located at 1301 Second Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN. Show hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2 and Thursday, November 3, 2005.
