| For Immediate Release Veridiam Achieves Nuclear Industry Assessment Committee Membership
San Diego, CA; October 2010-- VERIDIAM (Veridiam.com) has recently achieved membership in the prestigious Nuclear Industry Assessment Committee (NIAC). The committee consists of nuclear customers and suppliers who perform supplier qualification
activities at the highest industry performance standards. Membership to NIAC is open to
suppliers having a 10CFR50 Appendix B or equivalent DOE quality program. NIAC
currently represents 105 member companies.
"Bringing Veridiam into the NIAC has been a truly unique experience," said Andrew Gale, Chief Executive Officer, Veridiam. "Our membership in NIAC, and through its external audits program, positions us to deliver broader quality and performance commitments to our customers as a result of the benefits from participating in this incomparable industry resource." About NIAC NIAC was formed in 1994 as a result of an industry initiative to share the results of supplier audits among industry companies, thereby reducing the number of external audits on the supplier. The program is similar to the joint audit program operated by utilities through the Nuclear Procurement Issues Committee (NUPIC) except membership is limited to nuclear industry suppliers, joint audits are not conducted and audits are shared only with member companies which have a bona fide business relationship with the audited supplier. For more information about the NIAC, visit their website at www.niacusa.org.
