Veridiam Continues to Expand Its Capabilities at Oceanside Facility

May 4th, 2021|

Veridiam, Inc. announces the acquisition of a state-of-the art Matsuura Five-Axis Machining Center for its Oceanside Machining Center of Excellence.   Over the past twelve months, Veridiam has added four Matsuura Machining Centers, a Dooson Vertical Turning Mill and a Magnaflux Modular Liquid Penetrant Non-Destructive Test System to the capabilities of its Oceanside plant.    These added capabilities allow Veridiam to manufacture and inspect a vast array of component sizes and complexities for use in medical instruments, launch vehicles & rockets, and nuclear safety components.

“This additional five-axis capability is part of a concerted effort on our part to expand our capability in advanced machining and manufacturing”, says Robert Olevson, Vice President of Operations at Veridiam. “We are committed to a strategic plan that positions Veridiam as a world-class manufacturing partner.”

This fourth Matsuura Machining Center will be operational by June and be able to support both new product development and sustained manufacturing needs.  The Magnaflux modular penetrant testing system supports mid and high-volume inspection processes for machined components and is further scalable.  Veridiam plans further expansion of its capabilities at both its El Cajon and Oceanside facilities over the next several months.

Veridiam adds to NADCAP accreditation

October 1st, 2020|

Following a recent investment in dye penetrant testing equipment capable of inspecting large tubes as well as machined components, Veridiam achieved Nadcap accreditation for Non-Destructive Dye Penetrant testing.  This new capability builds upon more than 50 years of NDT testing by complimenting current Radiographic (X-Ray), Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, and Ultrasonic testing which allows us to shorten the product lead-time with vertically integrated inspection solutions.

“The continued investment in equipment and resources for our non-destructive testing is part of our strategic effort to decrease operational lead times.” says Robert Olevson, Vice President of Operations.  “We are planning to set a whole standard in product lead-times.”  “With this added accreditation, we are uniquely positioned in the market to support our customers’ needs.” says Lourdes Machado, Senior Quality Manager.

In addition to the NADCAP accreditation, Veridiam’s dye penetrant equipment and processes have been certified by several OEM aerospace and space systems customers.   We invite you to visit our website at www.veridiam.com and see what other exciting changes are happening at Veridiam where we are imagining tomorrow, today.
