Veridiam, Inc. announces the acquisition of a state-of-the art Matsuura Five-Axis Machining Center for its Oceanside Machining Center of Excellence.   Over the past twelve months, Veridiam has added four Matsuura Machining Centers, a Dooson Vertical Turning Mill and a Magnaflux Modular Liquid Penetrant Non-Destructive Test System to the capabilities of its Oceanside plant.    These added capabilities allow Veridiam to manufacture and inspect a vast array of component sizes and complexities for use in medical instruments, launch vehicles & rockets, and nuclear safety components.

“This additional five-axis capability is part of a concerted effort on our part to expand our capability in advanced machining and manufacturing”, says Robert Olevson, Vice President of Operations at Veridiam. “We are committed to a strategic plan that positions Veridiam as a world-class manufacturing partner.”

This fourth Matsuura Machining Center will be operational by June and be able to support both new product development and sustained manufacturing needs.  The Magnaflux modular penetrant testing system supports mid and high-volume inspection processes for machined components and is further scalable.  Veridiam plans further expansion of its capabilities at both its El Cajon and Oceanside facilities over the next several months.
